We’ve all done it, left an internet site because it’s annoyed us. I’m finding it's usually over identical reasons. Moreover, when I’m leaving these websites it leaves a negative image of them in my mind and that I am unlikely to go to their site again.
If you've got one or more of those reasons on your website, you're losing potential customers. What causes you to leave a website?
Videos & sounds that autoplay
This is particularly annoying if it’s not even the most focused on the page. I much value more highly to read the content than have some sassy presenter tell me in a very video. The worst part about video autoplaying is that the sound; it's so intrusive and loud most of the time. whether or not the most content on the website is video-based, give the user the choice of when to observe the video.
Lists touch several pages
You know the lists, usually followed from typical clickbait articles like ’10 ways to form your skin softer. You follow the link to the primary page, which has one reason on, you then need to press next and visit the subsequent page to read the following item on the list. I actually don’t care that much about my skin to travel to any or all this effort. this is often absolutely unbearable, usually drained order for the web site to induce more impressions of their adverts.
Adverts, adverts and more adverts
Adverts themselves on websites are absolutely fine, but adverts that are disguised as natural content or having numerous adverts than you struggle to seek out the first content is quite annoying.
Slow loading times
40% of holidaymakers will abandon an internet site if it takes longer than 3 seconds to load and I’m no different.
Member-only content
This usually happens when I’m trying to find specialist answers on forums, but still, equally as annoying. If I've got to join up (whether it's free or not) to look at the content, I'm visiting leave. It’s not well worth the weekly emails from the website I’m probably never visiting visit again. With the vast amount of comparison websites online, I can just return to Google search and find the solution someplace else, without signing up.
Typos
Although I won’t leave a website after I notice a typo, it certainly loses plenty of its credibility. This one could just be me, but I doubt it.
