Marketers everywhere are celebrating. TikTok has announced it's literally ‘open for business with a brand new platform titled TikTok for Business.
The announcement marks the newest addition to the short-form video-sharing social networking service, with TikTok for Business poised to supply brands and marketers a meaningful thanks to connecting with the ever-growing TikTok community.

No longer is TikTok JUST a platform for binge-watching Charli D’Amelio and doing the Renegade; it’s a crazy global phenomenon with 800 million active users worldwide.
So how will it work? in step with the recent announcement, TikTok for Business will help marketers develop targeted campaigns with optimized sound-on mobile viewing in mind.
‘Don’t make ads, Make TikToks,’ says the above advert. Marketers can create interactive ads aligning with how consumers interact with the platform. Ultimately, TikTok’s goal is to assist users to develop ads that flow with the user’s experience instead of interrupting it.
So, What’s On Offer?
The platform includes tips, notes, and links to a spread of case studies and other tools like Creator Marketplace to know best a way to use TikTok for his or her promotions.
Products included in their platform include brand takeovers, In-feed videos, hashtags campaigns, and branded effects. We’ve broken these terms down for you below.
- Brand Takeovers are 3 to 5-second videos which will be either a picture or a video. While in-feed videos may be up to 60 seconds and run with the sound on.
- Hashtag challenges work identically to the other platform; brands invite users to make content around a hashtag of their choice. This also includes hashtag plus, which even adds a shopping feature to the experience.
- Branded effects allow marketers to feature a product to be added to a video in a very 2D, 3D, or AR format.
